H3 (Helping the Homeless into Housing) is a homelessness support charity that works with people experiencing homelessness in temporary accommodation, in poor health or at high risk of homelessness.
Since 2012 we have developed and delivered a wide range of projects for and with local people experiencing homelessness. This include support to build confidence and wellbeing, intensive health management support, peer support, diversionary activities, support to move on, volunteering and training, and support to access other services.
We believe in the power of positive engagement and the importance of good health, confidence and self-esteem. We value different experiences and interests and work through people’s strengths.
Our work focuses on preventing and relieving the effects of homelessness and reducing social and financial exclusion. We aim to support people to move out of homelessness in a sustainable way.
Homelessness is a time of transition, and is often chaotic and highly stressful. This is also true of coming out of hospital, leaving care and moving into your own home. We support our service users through all of these transitions, recognising the unique challenges and opportunities that these times bring.
H3 is constituted as a charity company (8004032), limited by guarantee, and is a Registered Charity (1147113).
