To relieve poverty & distress amongst people who are homeless by the provision of accommodation in our hostel and by providing financial support to other organisations who share our objectives. Our aim is that those we come into contact with are assisted and supported towards moving onto a secure, settled and fulfilling life.
The charity owns The Sanctuary, a hostel in Hitchin, Herts, where accommodation & support services to the homeless are managed by a regional homelessness charity. We are looking to form a long-term partnership with a like-minded charity to secure the future use of the building. We also act as a hub supporting a number of local homelessness charities by providing grants & donations in kind from money and goods which we receive through the efforts of our magnificent fund-raising team. The charity is run entirely by volunteers.
