Objectives

Together, Rebuilding Lives

  • H4H was founded in 2007, to provide direct, practical support for wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel, Veterans (‘the blokes’) and their loved ones.
  • Our mission is to deliver an enduring national network of support for our wounded and their families. We will inspire and enable those who have made sacrifices on our behalf to achieve their full potential.
  • We are a tri-service charity, which means we support people from the Navy, the Army and the Air Force
  • At Help for Heroes we consider anyone who joins the Armed Forces, knowing that they may be asked to risk their lives as part of their jobs, to be Heroes.  They may not consider themselves Heroes, but we do!
  • The war in Afghanistan may be over, but for those who have suffered life-changing injuries, their battles are just beginning.
  • We've estimated that, of the 220,560 individuals deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq between 2001 and 2014, up to 75,000 servicemen and women (and their families) may need our support in the future. We will not let them fight these battles alone.

An amazing 97% of all funding comes directly from the public, so please accept our thanks for considering joining our volunteer team; your support is as appreciated, as it is vital.
