Our help matters because it has made a significant difference in the lives of many individuals and families. By supplying them with food parcels, clothing, furniture, toys, and other essential items, we have helped prevent hunger and provided a sense of security. Our assistance has not only met their immediate needs but also uplifted their spirits and relieved financial burdens. Through our support, we have played a vital role in ensuring that families do not go hungry and have the resources necessary for their well-being.

Activities

To meet our objectives and fulfill our mission, our organization employs several strategies:

1. Social Media Advertising: We rely on social media platforms to raise awareness about our organisation , its objectives, and the assistance we provide. Through targeted advertising campaigns, we reach a wider audience and encourage individuals to contribute by donating foods, clothing, toiletries, and other essential items. Social media helps us engage with the community and spread the word about our cause.

2. Neighbourly Partnership: We have established a partnership with Neighbourly, a platform that connects businesses and non-profit organisation's. Through this partnership, our non-profit organisation obtains surplus foods from our nominated supermarkets. This collaboration allows us to access additional resources that can be distributed to families in need.

3. Efficient Distribution: Once our team receives or picks up specific items, we prioritize distributing them to families in need as soon as possible. We have a dedicated team of drivers who ensure the timely delivery of these resources to the H.B.H. families requiring assistance. They work diligently to ensure that the items reach the recipients promptly and efficiently.

4. Van Men for Bulkier Items: In addition to our regular drivers, we have dedicated van men who specialize in picking up and delivering bulkier items. This ensures that larger items such as furniture and other essential items can be transported safely and efficiently.

By employing these strategies, we harness the power of social media to engage the community and encourage contributions. Through our partnership with Neighbourly, we access surplus foods from supermarkets, minimizing waste and maximizing the resources available for distribution. Our efficient distribution system, involving both regular drivers and dedicated van men, ensures that items reach families in need promptly. These efforts collectively enable us to meet our objectives, address immediate needs, and provide essential support to individuals and families in challenging circumstances.
