The Hedgehogs are a unique local Farnham based Charity that raises money to distribute to ‘Local Individuals and Organisations in Need’. The Hedgehogs have been active for over 63 years and distribute funds varying from £25 to over £5,000 and in a typical year will distribute money to over 80 individuals/organisations. Items provided are varied and range from specialised tricycles for handicapped children to replacement washing machines and door ramps for wheelchair users.

Fundraising events occur within the community, throughout the year – and we’re also kept busy especially with our marquee hires. Although the winter tends to be quieter and allows us to have a little breather!

Total amounts distributed vary but are around £60,000 annually.  We meet monthly and each donation made is voted on by the membership in a fully democratic way.
