Objectives

The Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner Memorial Park displays the work of William Heath Robinson (1872-1944), the much-loved cartoonist, illustrator and painter known as the Gadget King. We opened on October 15th 2016 and are already attracting local, national and international visitors. In addition we run West House next door, a community arts facility with a cafe, and function room to rent.

Activities

We open the Heath Robinson Museum to the public, have special exhibitions changing quarterly, run workshops for all ages, celebrate our local diverse community with special cultural days such as Chinese New Year and Diwali. We have Curator's Talks for each exhibition and sell a range of Heath Robinson cards and gifts in the Museum shop. We invite our local High School to exhibit its GCSE and A Level Art and work with other local schools, both mainstream and for children with special needs. We raise money through special events and appeals to carry out our work, and are supported by a number of charitable trusts as well as the Heritage Lottery Fund.
