Objectives

THE OBJECTS OF HEARTS & MINDS ARE TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS AND TO PROMOTE AND PRESERVE THE GOOD MENTAL HEALTH OF YOUNG PEOPLE EXPERIENCING ANY FORM OF MENTAL HEALTH DIFFICULTY IN LONDON, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) THE PROVISION OF HELP, SUPPORT AND ADVICE THROUGH PEER SUPPORT AND 1 TO 1 SUPPORT; AND B) PROVIDING A "SAFE PLACE" WHERE INFORMATION, PROBLEMS AND EXPERIENCE CAN BE EXCHANGED AND DISCUSSED.

Activities

We are Hearts & Minds, and we are glad you’re here! Run by young people, for young people, our aim is simple – to give every young person someone that gets it.

No matter your situation – we believe you and would love to have you as part of our community! You don’t have to be at your best, and you don’t need to be afraid to bring your worst.

All our staff and volunteers have lived experience of mental health difficulties and we believe no one should have to feel ashamed or feel like they need to prove their struggle in order to get support. Rather than analysing or diagnosing members, we specialise in creating spaces and communities where 14-25 year olds experiencing mental health difficulties can be seen, heard and reminded that they are not alone.
