Objectives

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity and centre of excellence in training dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds and danger signals in the home, work place and public buildings.

Activities

Hearing Dogs are lucky enough to have the support of over 1,800 wonderful volunteers across the UK.

Local dog lovers may care for our trainee, breeding and working dogs near our two centres in Buckinghamshire and Yorkshire. We also have incredible volunteers training our puppies in various regions in England and Scotland.

Hearing Dogs receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of individuals and organisations to help deaf people. We look for dedicated and passionate fundraisers all over the country, as well as confident speakers to deliver talks to schools and groups.
