Objectives

Richmond Health Voices is the Charity that runs Healthwatch Richmond, your local consumer champion for health and social care.

We support local children, young people, adults, and their communities to influence the design, delivery and improvement of their local health and social care services now and f or the future.

We're an independent, government backed organsiation with the power to ask questions and get answers, to enter care providers premises to review the quality of care and ultimately to make the improvements to NHS and social care that matter to local people.

Activities

We visit hospitals, care homes, GP surgeries and community spaces to gather the views of people about their needs and experiences of health and social care services. Organisations who receive public money have a duty to let us visit the places thta we provide care.

We produce reports and provide recommendations about how care can be or should be improved. Organisations who receive public money for NHS or social care have to respond to our recomendations to explain how they'll improve care.

We work hard to give the community a powerful voice in decisions about local care, by networ4king with ley stakeholders and providing a platform for members of the community to have their say.

We also provide information and advice to the public about the NHS and social care services available to them
