Objectives

Headway Darlington & District is your local charity supporting people affected by brain injury. We offer support, advice & education to survivors and their families.

Brain injury can happen to anyone at any time and can transform any aspect of a person due to often complex cognitive, behavioural, emotional and physical changes.  It can devastate lives, shatter families and leave people in desperate need of support.  Headway Darlington & District is a local independent charity supporting people affected by brain injury.

Our mission is to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury for both individuals and the wider community via support, advice and educational services.

Activities

We offer a range of group sessions including arts and crafts, chatterbox discussion group, drop-in sessions and bowling.  We offer trips out in a minibus to places of interest.   These services are available to existing and new members.
