Objectives

We are a non-profitable charity riding school that cater for adults & children with both learning & psychical disabilities, we have a lower age limit of 4 and no upper age limit.
We started in 2001 with just one horse, one rider and three volunteers, now in 2020 we have 11 horses, 160 riders and 25 regular volunteers.

We run relying on volunteers to ensure these children and adults can have their riding sessions or any other activities we do.

Activities

We run therapeutic and educational riding sessions 5 days a week, these sessions help our riders build balance, core strength, social skills, self esteem, fine & gross motor skills and riding skills - these skills can then be shown at RDA competitions and Special Olympics around the country.

We also run other clubs, groups and sessions including:

  • After School Club groups (twice a week)
  • Holiday Clubs (during school holidays)
  • Luncheon Club (Once every two weeks)
  • Dressage Squad (Once every week)
  • Pony Club (Once a month)
  • Stable management (Runs 6 days a week)
