Hathern Village Association was setup over 10 years ago, to help return community spirit to the village of Hathern. Over this time it has grown beyond our belifs; we now run a Music Festival and Firework display which both attract over 4000 people. We also encourage and support other village groups to run smaller local events; part of this support involves helping them raise much needed funding to keep going.
Wicked Hathern Music Festival - The East Midlands' Largest Voluntary Lead Music Festival. We offer over 40 different bands/artists the opportunity to perform to over 4000 people, while also having some famous bands play alongside them. We also have a family area where young people can learn and play in a fun environment.
Wicked Hathern Bonfire & Fireworks - One of the largest Firework displays within the area.
Hathern Big Week & other local village events - A range of free events run in the village for local people to meet and try out new activities.
At these events, small local groups are given the opportunity to raise funds by running stalls, which helps generate funds and increased awareness. We also donate money to groups within the local community to help with running cost and one off projects.
