Harmoney Community Interest Company

Objectives

Our mission is to help improve personal financial health, particularly because money problems and worries are a major cause of and contributor to mental health problems.

By 'financial health', we mean that:

  • Any debt is under control
  • People are managing well day-by-day and through the year
  • They are prepared for future life changes

To achieve our mission, we provide free advice on money issues. At present that is around benefit and budgeting, but we will shortly also provide debt advice. We are also developing plans for a money management account/online tool.

Activities

At present we provide free expert advice and support on welfare benefits and budgeting, through telephone and face-to-face appointments.

Charity sectors

  • Counselling / advice
  • Financial inclusion
