HAGA works with and on behalf of people, families and communities affected by alcohol
Founded in 1981, we are one of the very few to focus exclusively on alcohol through our work in service delivery, consultancy and campaigning.
We tackle the harm caused by alcohol by supporting people to cut back their drinking, reducing risk and raising awareness of the dangers of excessive drinking.
Since 1981, we have supported 15,000 people to change their drinking for the better
HAGA’s vision is a community with an informed relationship with alcohol, able to understand and discuss its effects, pleasures and difficulties, with families supported to deal with its negative impacts. We want everyone to be able to access support and treatment for alcohol if and when they need it

Our teams deliver brief advice across the community and in workplaces. We are also developing our online services through our Don'tBottleItUp website and skype intervention services.
