Geographical remit:

We work in a small village in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco providing Education and relief of poverty through various projects. We run our own pre-school and have purchased a piece of land to build our own school, which will take children through to age 18 years.

Very few children in the village were attending school. although there is a government school which takes children from age 7 - 12 years of age. Most children who did attend the government school would not be able to travel to the nearest town in order to continue their education. Through the sponsorship of the children we have increased the amount of children attending school. We have 30 + children who regularly attend the pre-school which has transformed their education when they attend the government school. Children who have been sponsored are now regularly continuing to University level and this is making a huge impact in the village where most adults are illiterate. This is changing the cycle of poverty and making a lasting difference to future generations.

We run a pre-school with 30+ children between the ages of 2 1/2 to 6 1/2 years of age. We own the pre-school and pay wages to the teachers and caretaker providing work for villagers. Some older children are sponsored through the government school and continuing on to University. We have purchased a piece of land to build a school in the village will will educate children to age 18 years and are building as the money comes in.

We also have projects to help the villagers including stoves for heating and cooking in winter and we built a well for water and we have a goat project to provide milky goats for families to help with nutrition of children and pregnant women.
