Objectives

Hampshire Scouts are members of the Scout Association which provides young people from 6 - 25 with the skills for life. We bring communities together and contribute to society. Above all we aim to build better futures.

Activities

Each week almost half a million people enjoy fun, friendship and outdoor adventure. They develop a sense of optimism and strong values as well as leadership and teamwork skills that are more valuable today than ever before.

Our plan for the next five years is simple. We need to build our recent success and focus on the challenges we face. Our volunteers do not always get the support they need, the public do not always understand what we do and are not seen as relevant or open enough.  Despite these challenges, Scouting achieve remarkable things. Hampshire is the largest Scout County in the country with over 26,000 members. Now we want to go further. We want to support and empower leaders to deliver and amazing program for our young people so that they can contribute to a better society. We are an organisation for young people who deserve the best skills, the best support and the best possible future.
