Haddenham Community library provides a traditional library service, lending books and offering free digital access but is also a unique space for connecting and learning. Situated at the heart of the community we offer a safe and welcoming space in which to access information, enjoy a variety of cultural and creative activities as well as combatting loneliness and social isolation. We are family friendly and provide opportunities for volunteering and involvement from across the communities we serve.
We provide free access to books and the internet, manage a space which connects with local community groups, organisations and schools. We support learning and literacy as well as digital inclusion. We recruit and train volunteers and manage the library through a Board of Trustees, also local people. We offer cultural and creative activities and encourage engagement and participation especially from children.
