Hackney Children's Theatre brings professional affordable theatre made for young audiences to Hackney.

We also provide affordable after school dance activities for young children living in one of London’s most disadvantaged boroughs. Children in Hackney are fourth highest rate of child poverty in London and second highest in the country.

Our activities give children an opportunity to meet other children in a non competitive environment learning new skills .Children living in low income families will often go on to do worse than their peers in different areas of life including education, employment and training as well as experiencing more health problems.
