The Gregson is a very successful arts and community centre that has been established in Lancaster for forty years. The building is community owned through the Gregson Community Association, and offers a friendly bar and cafe, lots of workshops, events, gigs as well as a secret cinema and venue spaces to hire. There's always something going on, and a warm welcome to all those who come in.
Volunteers are involved in all aspects of life at the Gregson and we pride ourselves on offering flexible and friendly volunteering opportunities.
We provide a community run cafe and bar, venue and exhibition facilities, a secret cinema, gigs, groups and workshops of all sorts - run by and for people in Lancaster. We also support the Gregson Festival Group who run a variety of events through the year.
