The Governing Board of Great Tew Primary School supports the school's Senior Leadership Team to enable them to deliver the best possible outcomes for children at the school. The key role of a school Governor is that of a "critical friend" who holds the school to account with a focus on the strategic direction rather than the day-to-day operations.
Great Tew School Governing Body meets 3 times per year as a full board. The board also operates two committees - one to focus on Curriculum and one to focus on Resources (buildings & finance). These also meet 3 times per year. Governors can choose to join one or other committees or in some cases both.
