Objectives

G&DHA own and manage 39 properties within Grayshott village, it is an old charity providing affordable housing for rent to people on low incomes with a strong local connection. We recently completed a £2 million project creating 14 new flats in the village centre. We have sufficient reserves to continue developing new homes and retrofitting our older properties. G&DHA has a strong, enthusiastic and committed trustee board with a large range of skills and experience. You would be joining this small team who meet regularly to support the paid part time Housing Administrator. G&DHA is looking to recruit trustees with skills in the areas of property management, law, social care or housing development. The key qualification is enthusiasm for providing quality affordable housing for people in need.

Activities

G&DHA ensures that all the properties are up to a decent home standard and are meeting all the statutory obligations.

Tenants are supported when needed with quick repairs and rent assistance. A waiting list is kept to fill any voids.

G&DHA uses its resources to develop new housing to meet the local needs.
