The Sea Cadet corps provides a wide range of out of school activities for young people between the ages of 10 and 18 years old. mostly these have a nautical theme such as rowing, power boating, sailing and paddle sport all operated under the auspices of the sport national bodies such as the RYA and British Canoeing. We also offer a range of land based activities in diverse subjects such as marine engineering, catering, meteorology and parade training. Cadets are able to achieve both recognised sporting qualifications as well as a number of BTEC qualifications such as Teamwork and Personal Skills for Uniformed youth Organisations and Marine Engineering.
