Objectives

GoodWork is a non-profit, founded in May 2022 to support businesses to reimagine early careers and hire diverse talent. Our approach combines contextual recruitment and strengths-based assessment - meaning employers hire young people with potential, and without excluding candidates based on past experience or exam results.

Activities

As well as sourcing candidates directly, we partner with job centres and community organisations across London to connect with unemployed and underemployed young adults who need our support to get their foot in the door. Through our Early Careers Programme, our young people undertake paid work placements with our partner organisations. We provide work readiness training, help young people develop their soft skills and give them access to first rate mental health support, plus our network of professional Coaches and industry mentors.

We’re on a mission to achieve system-wide change in entry level hiring, so that young people are no longer held back by their circumstances and we all benefit from stronger, more diverse teams.
