GoodCall is a Dundee based Social Enterprise supporting organisations across the UK.
We are a Community Interest Company (not-for-profit) on a mission to reduce the digital inequality for charities, social enterprises, and community groups. We do this by providing affordable mobile phones, tablets, and connectivity at cost price exclusively to third sector organisations.
We have ambitious plans for growth over the next three years, passionate about reaching and supporting 900 third sector organisations by the end of 2024, which will see £1 million of savings repurposed in to the third sector!
Alongside our services, we would like to grow our team by recruiting women furthest from the job market with an aim of supporting 11 women in employment over the next 3 years.
Our model is pretty simple. Every time we connect a device to a mobile network, we receive commission. We keep what we need from this commission to cover our overheads, and then we give the surplus to the non-profit organisations we support. On average this saves our organisations around 40% on their costs compared to working with a for-profit business which they can then repurpose to achieve their social impact aims.
Our small team has a unique blend of mobile and charity experience, that means we truly understand and can meet the needs of our organisations. We support them with their choice of devices and data they need to be able to deliver their services, through the lifetime of their contract. We launched in 2019 and are already supporting over 80 organisations, which we are very proud of!
