Objectives

Good Night Out Campaign began in 2014 as a grassroots response to sexual violence, with a focus on nightlife communities. We believe that nights out should be about fun, not fear. Our beneficiaries are women and LGBTQ+ people in public spaces, but we work with all community members and workers and managers in nightlife workplaces.

Activities

We deliver an accreditation programme to licensed premises. This supports those who work in or run venues, pubs, bars, clubs and festivals to better understand, respond to and ultimately prevent sexual harassment and assault in their spaces. We also work in partnership with councils, licensing teams, women’s organisations and other charities.
