The beneficiaries of GFMA are people in the community from low income families, disabled, people with mental and other health issues, refugees and asylum seekers, young people as well as the general public.
Global Fusion Music & Arts - Objects
1. To advance education for the public benefit with particular reference to public appreciation of music and arts in all its forms and within this, promoting a knowledge and understanding of music and arts.
2. . To promote public appreciation of arts for the public benefit, including, but not limited to the arts of music, drama, dance and poetry.
3. The promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit by promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds.
GFMA Services
Global Fusion Music & Arts provide free weekly workshops in the community including: Tai Chi, Yoga, Women's & Girls Boxersize, Singing, Drumming, Jewellery Making as well as monthly writers group and World Cinema Nights. GFMA also provide free children's workshops to during Easter and Black History Months as well as at various festival and events throughout the summer. These include: Drumming, Mask Making, Fabric Design, African Dance, Face Painting, Juggling, Singing and other activities.
GFMA also provide work placement and experience to young people in audio and film production, graphic design and other aspects of running an arts charity.
GFMA hold regular monthly events at a low cost or free whenever possible.
GFMA promote World Music & Arts in all its forms and disciplines by producing regular monthly, sometimes more than one event a month with: World Music, Jazz, Folk, Poetry, Theatre Production, Dance, Fashion Shows, Conferences, and Film Nights. The annual calendar includes: Chinese New Year, Fair-Trade Fortnight, International Women's Day, Easter, St George's Day, Africa Day, Refugee Day, Summer Festivals, International Day of Peace, Black History Month Events, Royal Greenwich Jazz, International Men's Day and Wassail Night.
GFMA have a recording studio and broadcast cameras and edit facilities as well as our own record label and online shop for CD's and downloads. GFMA plan to set up a further online shop selling: drums, fabrics, jewellery and artefacts from different cultures as well as on online magazine this year.
GFMA has no core funding and is run completely by volunteers.
