We help all girls know they can do anything
With guiding, girls have fun, adventure and the space to discover their potential.
They go to their first ever sleepover, canoe on rivers, learn about body confidence, and lead their own camp. Or sometimes they simply have fun and try new things with friends.
Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. And to make a difference to the world around them.
We offer a safe, girl-only space in which girls and young women can build confidence, learn new skills and discover who they want to be. We’ve got an action-packed programme with something for every girl, and we work to be truly girl-led in everything we do.
Girls in Girlguiding follow our programme. In unit meetings, they do fun activities, play games and earn skills builder badges, all while being supported by our trained volunteers.
We have 30 different groups meeting in Bath which cover the Girlguiding sections:• Rainbows age 4-7• Brownies age 7-10• Guides age 10-14• Rangers age 14-18
As well as regular meetings, girls have the opportunity to go to special events, sleepovers and camps. These can be with other groups locally or much larger events in the UK or abroad.
