We provide education for over 400 children and young people from the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. We seek to reach those thrown onto the margins of society, trapped in poverty and unable to access their rightful education. Our aim is to enable those we serve to grow into productive citizens: in short, to 'grow tall'.
We connect sponsors with individual children and young people in two primary schools in the slums and a boarding secondary school located in the countryside east of Nairobi. We also run a college programme, financing students working for Diplomas and Degrees. We strive to provide a rounded education in safe, nurturing environments, giving those we serve the best chance of acquiring the hard and soft skills needed to thrive when they enter young adulthood.
