Our vision is for all people living with HIV in the North West of England to live happy and health lives, be free from stigma and discrimination and for everyone to know their HIV status and to be HIV aware.
George House Trust provides high-quality services to people living with HIV, which enable them to feel empowered and able to live happily and healthily.
We raise awareness of HIV, promote safer sex and encourage all sexually active people in the North West to know their HIV status.
We ensure that HIV is prioritised by public bodies across the North West given that it has the biggest population of people living with HIV outside of London.
We challenge HIV stigma and discrimination and promote a better understanding of HIV.
George House Trust works with children, young people and adults, delivering support through relevant and timely interventions, which focus on empowerment and strengthening confidence to live a fulfilling and healthy life.
We are recognised nationally as an organisation that has developed innovative responses to the needs of people living with HIV, and for our commitment to being a service user centred charity, putting service users at the heart of its decision making processes and governance.
We are based in Manchester, providing services for people living with HIV in Greater Manchester and the wider North West. All services are provided free of charge and include 1-1 services, group services, counselling, food parcels, money and debt advice and peer mentoring.
