Objectives

Generation 2 Generation (G2G) provides speakers to tell their family Holocaust stories to a range of audiences.  Beneficiaries include, children from Year 6 upwards, university students, teachers and educators, adults in civic, community and religious settings, members of professional associations and private organisations.  Our organisation supports their Holocaust education and commemoration activities and ensures that the Holocaust is not forgotten or denied and that lessons can be learnt for the future, emphasising values of inclusivity, empathy and understanding of all groups in society.

Activities

We train speakers to deliver engaging and age appropriate presentations to a variety of audiences using survivor testimony, artefacts and multimedia tools.  New speakers are allocated a mentor and attend workshops to help them build a historically accurate presentation integrating eye witness testimony.

Once their presentation is complete we arrange for them to deliver their presentation in a range of institutions.  We also provide teachers with supporting resources to help them extend student learning. In 2023 our speakers delivered 350+ presentations to more than 40,000 people with demand growing across the UK.

We work in collaboration with other groups, organisation and charities engaged in Holocaust and genocide education.
