Future Talent provides financial support and a range of unique opportunities to young musicians from low-income backgrounds across the UK. Access to music education in the UK is not a level playing field, with those from wealthy backgrounds able to progress further in their early years of development. We strive towards an equal reality where every young musician has the resources and support they need to flourish, regardless of their background.

Future Talent operates two programmes - our Junior Programme, for younger musicians at an earlier stage of their musical journey, and our Development Programme for more advanced musicians. Every young musician we support receives a financial award to contribute towards their musical costs, which enables them to access lessons, equipment, courses, instruments, and other crucial things that they otherwise may not be able to afford. Meanwhile, our opportunities, which include one-to-one mentoring, workshops, masterclasses and performance opportunities, help them to flourish both as musicians and people, and reach their full potential.
