Our objectives are to alleviate social isolation (mainly) for people who are older, have learning and/ or physical disabilities and mental health issues. Our trustees and management have had long carers in educating, supporting and caring for people with varying additional needs. Our projects cover a wide age spectrum from children to old age. Increasingly we are assisting with issues of financial isolation
We are a dynamic young charity who currently run 7 projects which range from education and training, to manufacturing, as well as social care style workshops. New planned developments include an Arts and Drama hub for the whole community, an inclusive provision to reach out to our local Eastern European communities.
As a charity we are well respected by the local authority, and by our many partners who include social care providers, volunteer providers and local SEN provision.
We offer a wide range of supported volunteering roles. During the Lockdowns we have overseen some 5/6000 visits to people shielding etc etc
