We are the UK fundraising arm for an acclaimed Indian NGO which works across 700 villages and communities in southern Rajasthan in some of the poorest rural and tribal areas of India. Started over 50 years ago, we build community/village institutions and autonomy and delivering education, healthcare, nutrition, WASH, livelihoods, sustainable energy, youth, women’s empowerment, agricultural, household financial management projects and services.
We have an established supporter base in the UK and Europe of individual donors and some trusts and foundations. In normal times, we run two or three prestigious events each year for fundraising. We also have a regular newsletter for all our supporters and sometimes launch specific appeals to them by email. We regularly apply for grants from institutional donors.
