We support Penlee House Gallery and Museum, which holds a nationally important collection of `Newlyn School' paintings as well as local collections. We have 1700 members. Through fees and fund-raising we contribute to its outreach and education programmes and support particular exhibitions, and we purchase works of art for the collections. We organise a lecture programme and publish a magazine.
We raise funds and plan their best use with the gallery. This includes purchase of significant works of art. We promote understanding and love for the collection through our activities. We work with local partners to develop a strategy for Penlee's future.
