Our organisation aims to support and develop an animal rescue centre in Arusha, Tanzania. The rescue currently exists but struggles to cope with the demand. Currently the Tanzanian government cull their street dog population by shooting them, the local population also kill and mutilate these dogs. We have provisional agreement from a local government officer that if we establish a program of spaying and neutering their policy of shooting dogs will be reviewed.
We undertake a wide variety of fundraising activities in an effort to generate the monies necessary to develop the animal rescue.
