FRC Group’s vision is of a society where people can obtain good quality, affordable furniture without experiencing the devastating impacts of furniture poverty – no bed to sleep on or unmanageable debts.
Our mission is to reduce and ultimately eradicate furniture poverty. We campaign to raise awareness of furniture poverty and create practical solutions to get furniture to people who need it. Our work also helps create sustainable employment and better futures for people.
Our Objectives are:
Using over 30 years of experience in solving individual experiences of Furniture Poverty, in June 2015 we launched End Furniture Poverty to campaign nationally and across all types of housing tenure to shine a light on the reality of living in Furniture Poverty and to promote the take up of practical solutions.

BULKY BOB'S
Bulky Bob’s has worked in partnership with Liverpool City Council to deliver the bulky household waste contract since 2000. We have delivered more innovative schemes to increase reuse and recycling rates, using waste in the best possible way to help those in need.
We sell preloved furniture at low prices with further discounts for those receiving benefits, helping hundreds of families every year, using Liverpool’s bulky household waste to make a real difference to the lives of those most in need.
Bulky Bob’s and LCC have worked closely together to create an innovative scheme to reuse suitable items collected as part of the contract. We work with over 200 referral agencies, from charities to the emergency services, offering crisis furniture packages to people in great need. We give them furniture vouchers to use to select items they urgently need from our store, Bulky Bob’s Furniture World. Offering an element of choice means a great deal to the people we help because it gives them some control.
Bulky Bob’s and LCC also work together to deliver ‘On the Road’ events across Liverpool. These neighbourhood events share information with local residents on recycling and reuse to raise awareness of the issue and to increase the levels of recycling and reuse.
The partnership between Bulky Bob’s and LCC brings together two vital strands of activity, excellent recycling and reuse rates, and using that reuse to help thousands of people in Liverpool. We help those in the greatest of need to get hold of vital furniture, and educating and informing people about the importance of recycling and reuse.
Bulky Bob’s also operates bulky household waste contracts with Oldham and Bolton councils. To find out more about Bulky Bob’s, please visit www.bulkybobs.co.uk
Bulky Bob's for Business
Born in 2017 Bulky Bob's for Business offers businesses across the North West of England a clearance and removal service for bulky items with a planned repair programme in our workshops and reuse programme via our Bulky Bob's Furniture World Store and online at https://bulkybobsfurnitureworld.co.uk/
