We live in a time where a life crammed to the hilt is considered a success story, yet so many of us are struggling with the pressure and afraid to admit it.

Frazzled Cafe, founded by best selling author, comedian and mental health awareness campaigner Ruby Wax, runs facilitated peer support meetings across the UK providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where people who are feeling frazzled or overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life can come together to talk openly, connect and feel heard.

Frazzled Cafe meetings provide a ‘talk-in’ place where people who are feeling frazzled can meet fortnightly to talk and share their personal stories in a safe, anonymous and non-judgmental environment - a place where it's ok, to not be ok.

We are supported by Marks and Spencer who provide their café spaces in selected stores to host Frazzled Cafe meetings after hours, when the café is closed to the public but the store remains open. Meetings typically last 90 minutes and have a trained facilitator present to help ensure that they run smoothly and everyone has a chance to contribute, if they want to.

Frazzled Cafe meetings are not about therapy. They provide a space where people can talk openly with others who understand how they are feeling, without worrying about judgement. What is said in the meetings stays in the meetings and there is no need to answer “fine” if asked “how are you?”
