Our aim is to reduce poverty by providing used and selected new furniture at the lowest possible cost. We also offer volunteering opportunities and work experience in retail, logistics and admin.Our manshed also encourages social inclusion and learning of woodworking and gardening skills
On average we assist 600 households a month in setting up home or replacing essential items. Through our work experience scheme last year we helped 12 people into employment. We have a Manshed at our Middlesbrough shop and hope to role out to other locations and become more inclusive by opening up to all genders
