Forests Without Frontiers is an exciting organisation which plants trees and protects ancient forests with the help of music and arts. We help the planet, wildlife and people who live in and close to the forests. We help people counter their carbon footprint through planting trees.
Forests are the lungs of our earth, and with deforestation around the world at record levels and the climate in meltdown, there has never been a more important time to plant and protect trees.
Working in collaboration with local partners and communities, Forests Without Frontiers regenerate degraded landscapes and recreate wild nature havens on land that is fully dedicated to conservation, as well as helping to preserve areas of ancient forest.
Our mission is to preserve our forests and the people and wildlife they nurture, and promote connection with nature through music, art and culture. We can really make a difference by planting huge numbers of trees.
We raise funds and awareness and plant trees, with our first project in Romania, and plans to expand into other countries. Music and art is an important way for us to raise money and get the message across. Our founder is a Romania, UK-based, musician and producer and the project was inspired by a trip to Transilvania to record traditional musicians for her album.
We planted 25,000 trees in our first year, working in collaboration with our partner on the ground. These are mixed species native trees which will not be cut down.
We also raised funds for food boxes for elders in the village near our plantation during the height of the pandemic.
