Objectives

Our mission is that healthy, sustainable, fair food becomes a reality for everybody, every day.

The heart of our campaign work focuses on what policies communities need, because experience tells us that meaningful lasting change happens when those affected take part.

We work nationally and locally on our own projects and in partnership with other organisations. Pioneering innovative approaches that address the most challenging issues and focus on particularly marginalised and excluded communities.

Activities

Our projects aim to increase individuals’ control over their health and wellbeing, and central to that approach is community engagement and participation, to empower people to develop tools to address their own lifestyle and dietary needs.

We have a unique approach, supported by three core principles:

  1. Participation – We put people at the centre of all our work.
  2. Collaboration – We bring together multiple perspectives to achieve outcomes greater than the sum of their parts.
  3. Innovation - We test ideas, pilot initiatives and support programmes so the best of them can take root and flourish.
