Folkestone Rescue runs the Beach Life Guards & Inshore Rescue Boat in Folkestone, Kent.
Based at the Sunny Sands beach, they provide cover on weekends from April to October and cover weekdays as well in school holidays and the summer for all water users, it doesn't mater who you are, a swimmer, a sailor, just having fun, we are there for you.
• Monitor water users and beach hazards
• Perform rescues or first aid as required.
• Help Setting up equipment for the day
• Deploy & Retrieve Rescue Equipment
• Assist with Deployment & Retrieval of Rescue Boats
• Being a role model to the public
• Assist Emergency services where required.
