We are a UK-based arts charity operating across England and internationally, dedicated to spreading hope, happiness, laughter and smiles to children facing crisis. Working with displaced families and those facing challenge and adversity, we take our high energy arts, music, clowning, magic and performance into communities so that all children can access positive, quality play and entertainment. The difference we make is bringing joy and inclusive play to those who have been missing out on their childhoods. Our sessions are shown to build confidence, skills, wellbeing, communication, sense of community and hope. Play heals, empowers, lifts and supports, and should be considered an essential right of all children.
Delivering circus workshops, theatre shows, inclusive play programmes, music, comedy, dance and circus, we travel to communities across England and internationally to bring positive, safe, accessible play to children facing crisis.
Our trained teams of clowns, musicians and entertainers create safe environments for play and laughter in challenging and desperate situations, in the UK and around the world.
When play becomes a luxury, a child’s world shrinks into the daily struggles of premature adulthood. We use clowning, magic, games and arts workshops to replace fear and uncertainty with positive human connections based on respect, happiness and laughter.
We partner with community organisations, refugee support groups, disability support groups, looked after children support centres, pupil referral units and refuges to provide quality arts and play provision so that children feel valued, special, that their imagination and creativity is important and that they have a safe space to play and be creative.
