Our mission is to transform lives through economic empowerment. Five Talents works to eradicate extreme poverty by restoring human dignity and creating strong, sustainable communities. We're currently working in 8 different countries predominately located in eastern Africa through community partners. The members of these programmes are often based in rural areas and lack access to safe financial services.
We enable people who have been marginalised to transform their lives in Savings Groups. We provide literacy, business & financial skills training to communities and help them form their own Savings Groups. Together, members pool their savings and make loans to one another from their accumulated funds. Groups bring communities together to overcome challenges using their own resources.
