We enable vulnerable rural families in Asia and Africa to grow enough food so they don’t have to go hungry, to strengthen their voice so they can speak out against injustice and to earn enough money so they can find their feet.
Our approach is not to dictate how the communities we work with tackle the poverty they experience, but instead we enable them to decide how they want to build a better future. This means we don’t give handouts, instead, we listen and provide them with the skills, training and confidence they need to help themselves. It takes time to get it right because we want to support long-lasting and sustainable change rather than provide a quick-fix.
