Objectives

Feniscowles & Pleasington War Memorial Recreation Ground is held in Trust for all residents of the communities of Feniscowles & Pleasington and has been in existence since 1921.

It provides sports facilities for Football, Cricket, Bowls and Tennis, along with a children’s playground and a Biological Heritage Site.

Activities

There are over 20 sports teams using the facilities and when there is no organised sport the grounds are used by members of the public for general recreation purposes.

The playground has recently been refurbished and is the only facility within 2 miles of these two villages

The Heritage site is home to some lovely flora and fauna, with footpaths through a wooded area.
