Fegg Hayes Futures runs The Hub @ ST6, in Fegg Hayes in the North of Stoke on Trent (opened June 2016). We aim to enable local people and community groups to meet for learning, self-discovery, enjoyment, mutual support and participation in activities of common interest. The Hub is a resource for all the community and we are keen to work with people from the wider community to put on new activities or one off events.
The Hub @ ST6 is a base for many activities in the community including a parent and toddler group, fitness class, dance troupe, over 50s lunch club and carers cafe. Some of these activities are run by external groups and some are run directly by Fegg Hayes Futures or in partnership with other organisations but all have the community at their heart. During the COVID-19 pandemic, whilst gathered activities have had to cease we have been leading the local community support team, and post pandemic we plan to formalise our one to one support for members of the community.
