Objectives

FANOS is a charity organisation established in 1998 devoted to improve the lives of Ethiopian children who are orphaned, victims of HIV/AIDS, abandoned and left on the streets, and those affected by deprivation and poverty. There are hundreds of children with no one to care for them. FANOS works extremely hard to help children in need to gain access to basic welfare and education. Therefore we have developed the below four multilateral programmes which provide vital support to those children and young individuals. The core focus of our programmes is on education. We believe that mainly EDUCATION can help empower children and young people to break through the poverty cycle and sustain better future for themselves and their communities. JOIN US IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

Activities

Over the years FANOS has developed four core programmes to support increasing number of the most vulnerable children and young individuals, enabling them to improve their lives. The programmes consist of: Child Sponsorship; Back to School; Housing Project; and ICT/Book Project. These individual programmes aim to tackle different objectives but also work together whenever it is essential to help the most disadvantaged children and their families.
