Exeter Drama Company is an amateur dramatics group based in Exeter, Devon, UK. As a local community drama company we bring entertainment, smiles and fun to our local community. Our shows are accessible to all and we keep ticket prices low to ensure everyone can come along and enjoy the show.
We are a very active company and continue to put on a varied programme with four productions each year.
Plays over the years have included most subjects imaginable - comedy, tragedy, murder mysteries, ghost stories, pantomimes, farce and thrillers.
People who are on our mailing list receive details of our forthcoming programme four times per year and can buy tickets to whichever of these plays they wish to see.
Members are actively involved in the running of the theatre - everything from acting on the stage to making the tea/coffee for the audience on production nights.
Membership is currently running at over 70 members and over 400 people are on our mailing list and regularly come to see our plays.
On Monday evenings there is usually a rehearsal underway for the next play and members can come down to meet. People who are interested in joining are also welcome to come down to observe what we do.
