Working towards a dementia friendly Exeter, we are a fast growing alliance of community and business organisations in Exeter. We are a small association of people committed to helping people live well with Dementia in Exeter although our membership is growing rapidly. We liaise with health and social care services, the voluntary sector, charities and commercial organisations to help them become dementia friendly and improve the lives of people with dementia and their families and carers.
We promote Dementia Friends sessions enabling people to find out more about dementia. we help people to become dementia champions in the workplace and support people to become dementia friendly through the creation of action plans. This helps provide reassurance that people can live well for as long as possible with this condition.
