Objectives

Epping Forest ReUse provides furniture and household appliances for those who find themselves in need of help, including women and children who have experienced domestic violence , who move on from refuge to a flat, also homeless people in a similar situation. We also enable patients who leave hospital. They do not have anything to furnish the accommodation, we help with the essential necessities., e.g. bed, cooker, washing machine, sofas

Activities

Donated furniture and household appliances are collected without cost to the owner and the charity sells the goods at low or discounted prices. Some items are donated free to people referred by approved agencies and to customers identified by staff as being in exceptional need.

Caring for the environment is another aspect of our work, and each year we save nearly 100 tonnes of goods from going to landfill.
